Plan Your Gift

THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

There are many ways to make a gift that ensures the future of the Playmaker movement without impacting your everyday finances; many can have a positive impact on your taxes, too.

Bequests

A charitable bequest can be one of the easiest gifts to make. Whether you wish to leave a specific amount of money, a percentage of your estate, or even what remains after you provide for other priorities, your attorney can help you add simple language that can be changed at any time.

Sample bequest language: I give and bequeath to Life is Good Playmaker Project of Boston, MA, the sum of $___ [or %] to be used for its general purposes.

Retirement Funds

You can name Life is Good Playmaker Project as a beneficiary to your retirement fund. (This works for life insurance policies, as well.)

If you’re 70 ½ or over and own an IRA, you are likely dealing with required minimum distributions (RMD). Called a charitable rollover, you can designate all or a portion of your RMD, up to $100,000 annually to Playmaker Project.

Everyone’s tax situation is unique; please consult your advisors to decide what strategies might be best for you.
