Fan, but concerned about the fading

"Bought this for my bf and he loves it. (He's a big GD fan and the shirt is so soft & comfy. ) However, he did notice that after wearing a couple days (hadn't washed yet) the graphic already seems to be fading. Looking back at the design, there does seem to be some intentional fading, but his shirt seems to have more than pictured now. We'll see how it handles its first wash."
