Great quality. . . sizing questionable.
"I have many of these crusher t-shirts, some up to 30 years old. I found these newer ones a bit heavier and they don't drape quite as well as a result. According to the size chart, I'm right there bordering a L and XL, so I got the XL. My older L shirts don't fit as good anymore, so I just wear the XL ones now. These new ones are really great quality but they look giant on me, and not in a good way. They definitely don't shrink in the dryer, which is a good thing! I'm afraid to order the L size to find them too snug for my liking. There just seems to be quite a difference between the two sizes. Sooo. . . I overlaid an older PINK one with a new one. The dimension at the bottom of the armhole is the same. The sleeves are cut differently now. . . they are directed downward (tailored) rather than continuing the same line of the shoulder seam (see photo). I don't care for this change. . . this type of cut restricts overhead arm movement. Now, the body of the shirt, below the armhole where the sleeve is attached, is about 1. 25" wider at the bottom than the old shirt, but the same width at the armhole, so it basically "flares". The length of the new one is about 1" shorter than the old one. No wonder it feels like I'm wearing a tent. . . it's wider and shorter! Overall, I am a bit disappointed the crusher cut was changed. My plan was to embroider designs on the solid pastels and tie dye the pack of white ones I bought. We shall see."
