Back in 1994, as Life is Good co-founders John and Bert Jacobs kicked off a mission to spread the power of optimism through t-shirts, Kerrie Gross joined the team as our company's first-ever employee — and saw an opportunity. Add a softer touch, reach new customers, and tap into the simple power of nature. Her suggestion? A daisy.

Over 30 years later, Kerrie is now one of the owners of Life is Good, and her daisy still stands as one of our most beloved and best selling graphics. And for Kerrie's daughter, Daisy, this simple symbol is more than a namesake. It's a reminder: love blooms bigger and bigger with every passing year.

"Review by Elliot Bichon Frise: My mommy ordered this pet hoodie in Size Medium for my doggy brother, Harold, because the Life is Good Dog T-shirt she had gotten him in a Size Small was much too tight. Hilariously, this Size Medium Pet Hoodie was so huge that it came off while Harold was trying to walk around in it. Which is how it became MY Pet Hoodie, since I am bigger than my doggy brother. Other than the confusing issue of the general sizing of Life is Good pet garments (why should a medium be much too large for an animal who could not comfortably wear the teeny size small?), we approve of this item of apparel. It looks cute on me, and my mommy and I both appreciate that the hood snaps down so it’s not in the way when the animal doesn’t want to model it. We like that it fits over my harness instead of having to be smashed under my harness, which kind of ruins the look. It is 100% polyester (not quite the standard we have come to expect), so we will make sure it is always hung to dry."
