How to Create Your Best Art

Here are a few tips & tricks to set kids up for success.

  • The materials: Crayons, markers, paints, pens. Whatever your child prefers. *If using colored pencils, color as dark as possible!
  • The canvas: Draw on our template or use any piece of white paper. Start with a square, at least 8 inches tall.
  • The color: Make your artwork bold and colorful for best results. A good test is ensuring the art can be seen from across a room.
  • The placement: Center your drawing and don't leave unwanted space. Erase unwanted marks & smudges before taking the pic.
  • The photo: Take the photo from directly above, in natural lighting. Once uploaded, you'll be able to fine tune with our customizer tool.
  • Acceptable formats: AI, EPS, GIF, JPEG, PDF, PNG, PSD, SVG
