Back in 1994, as Life is Good co-founders John and Bert Jacobs kicked off a mission to spread the power of optimism through t-shirts, Kerrie Gross joined the team as our company's first-ever employee — and saw an opportunity. Add a softer touch, reach new customers, and tap into the simple power of nature. Her suggestion? A daisy.

Over 30 years later, Kerrie is now one of the owners of Life is Good, and her daisy still stands as one of our most beloved and best selling graphics. And for Kerrie's daughter, Daisy, this simple symbol is more than a namesake. It's a reminder: love blooms bigger and bigger with every passing year.

"I love the flowers on this design and their placement on the shirt. One of the things I like most about this design is that you really could wear it all year long because the graphics don’t scream fall. The words “Happy fall y’all” are small and placed where you wouldn’t necessarily see them. I’m petite and the regular style doesn’t really fit me well - but this boxy tee works great."

"I took a jab at my first box tee- love the designs and most of the basic crew neck shirts were sold out well turns out I love the box tee more. They don't swallow me, they compliment me and I'm so comfortable. They are medium thick, soft and the prints are durable after washes. I think I'm gonna buy some more."
